Multi-Axis CNC Machining

Overview

PUNI's CNC machining center provides complete precision machining services from raw blanks or castings to finished, inspected components. Our facility combines 3, 4 and 5-axis machining with complementary processes (grinding, EDM, drilling) for one-stop manufacturing.

• 5-axis machining centers: 4 sets (including DMG MORI, Mazak, Haas)
• 4-axis machining centers: 6 sets for complex prismatic parts
• 3-axis machining centers: 12 sets for general milling
• CNC lathes: 10 sets (2-axis and multi-axis turning)
• Cylindrical grinders: 4 sets (OD/ID precision grinding)
• Surface grinders: 3 sets (precision flat surface finishing)
• Wire EDM (slow-wire): 3 sets (taper cutting available)
• Drilling & tapping machines: 6 sets

Capability Range

• Maximum workpiece size: 1500 × 800 × 600 mm (5-axis), larger on 3-axis
• Dimensional tolerance: ±0.01 mm standard; ±0.005 mm on critical features
• Surface roughness: Ra 0.4 - 0.8 μm standard, Ra 0.2 μm achievable
• Threading: M1.6 to M64 internal and external
• Materials: all metals (aluminum, steel, stainless, titanium, brass, copper) and engineering plastics (PEEK, POM, Nylon, Delrin)

Programming & Fixtures

Programming supports all major CAM formats (Mastercam, UG/NX, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM). Fixture design and in-house fixture manufacturing for both prototype and production runs. We accept drawings in STEP, IGES, X_T, SolidWorks, Pro-E, DWG and PDF formats.

Quality Control

CMM inspection on every batch with full reports. First article inspection (FAI) provided for new parts. In-process inspection with calibrated gauges (Mitutoyo, Renishaw probes). SPC data retained for production orders. Material certificates available for all machined raw materials.

Lead Times

• Prototype (1-10 pcs): 5-10 working days
• Small batch (10-100 pcs): 10-15 working days
• Production (100-1000 pcs): 15-25 working days
• Volume production (1000+ pcs): 20-40 working days depending on complexity
